Affiliate Product Foundry
In August 2007, the Geeks tried an experiment and created a product site features cool costumes. Figuring this is a once a year deal, we put the site up in August and ran new products several times a day until the week before Halloween. The site was mildly successful, but as an experiment this was the first step in showing the Geeks a new product model that we are exploiting as one of the Affiliate Utility Belt services. By the way, we continued to generate sales on this site throughout the year with no additional work!
Fast forward to August 2008, the Geeks vastly expanded costume related product sites with several new niche costume product sites that were created using a proof of concept we created that required perhaps 30 minutes per site to setup. The proof of concept is being fully developed and will be featured as one of the Utilities on our Affiliate Utility Belt.
